  • 1 cup flour for coating
  • Vegetable oil for frying

Method

  1. Prepare the Beef Filling: Heat a skillet over medium heat and add the ground beef. Cook the beef, breaking it apart with a spoon. Add the minced garlic, chopped onion, chili flakes, paprika, salt, and pepper. Cook for about 5-7 minutes until the beef is fully browned and fragrant. Remove from heat and let the mixture cool.

Notes

  • Spice Adjustments: Feel free to adjust the level of spiciness based on your preferences by adding more or less chili flakes or cayenne pepper.
  • Make Ahead: You can prepare the croquettes ahead of time by shaping them and storing them in the fridge for up to 2 hours before frying.
  • Baking Option: For a healthier alternative, you can bake the croquettes at 400°F (200°C) for 20-25 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden and crispy.
  • Freezing: To freeze, shape the croquettes and place them on a baking sheet to freeze until solid. Then transfer to a freezer bag. Fry directly from frozen when needed.Spicy Garlic Beef Croquettes
