Ingredients
For the Chicken
1½lbs680g boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into bite-sized pieces
Prepare the Chicken: Pat the chicken dry with paper towels. In a large bowl, combine the paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Toss the chicken until evenly coated. Sprinkle with flour if using.
Cook the Chicken: Heat the olive oil and butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the chicken in a single layer and cook for 4–5 minutes. Turn the pieces and cook for another 3–4 minutes until golden brown and the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
Make the Sauce: Reduce the heat to medium. Add the hot honey, apple cider vinegar, butter, and red pepper flakes to the skillet. Stir continuously for 2–3 minutes until the sauce becomes glossy and slightly thickened.
Coat the Chicken: Toss the cooked chicken in the sauce until every piece is evenly coated.
Serve: Garnish with parsley and sesame seeds if desired, and drizzle with additional hot honey before serving.
